If I were asked … ‘Johannes Schlecht, what genre do you think your music is, E(rnsten) or U(nterhaltenden)?” … I would say I make EU type of music (eu, greek-good).
I write songs for children, for adults and chansons, with many famous singers performing my works. I compose orchestra pieces, movie soundtracks, chamber music and musicals. I have directed very unique theater productions. I’m a bandleader, I play piano and create arrangements for two Jazzbands and work as conductor and creative leader of a traditional choir. My current kids program that I perform is filled with music, where we sing, laugh & cry.
Oh, before I forget. I also climb on top of mountains, I go running, swimming and ride my bicycle or motorbike …
